Description

Our single‑shaft screw conveyor, also called single auger feeder, is standard auxiliary conveying equipment for biomass pellet plant. It transports sawdust, wood chips, pellets and other free‑flowing agro‑forestry materials horizontally or inclined between crushers, dryers, pellet mills and coolers.

Adopting single helical flight inside sealed U‑trough or tubular housing, it realizes stable dust‑reduced material transfer. Optional variable‑frequency drive adjusts feeding speed to guarantee steady feeding for downstream equipment. Carbon steel is standard material; stainless steel is available for special demands.

Compact modular structure enables easy installation and connection via standard flanges. It features low failure rate and simple maintenance. Suitable for new‑built or upgraded pellet production lines. It can work independently or integrate into full‑automatic biomass pellet plant. Custom length, diameter and capacity are available according to site conditions.

FAQs

Our pellet mill processes wood sawdust, wood chips, straw, rice husk, peanut shell, bamboo dust, fruit tree branches and other biomass waste. Different dies are available for various feedstock. Raw materials should be crushed to 3‑5 mm with moisture 10‑15% for premium‑quality pellets. A dryer is required for high‑moisture materials.
