Description

The ring die is a key forming component of a ring die pellet mill. Working together with the roller, it compresses biomass materials such as sawdust, wood chips, straw and rice husks into uniform pellets. The die hole diameter, thickness and compression ratio directly affect pellet diameter, density, output and forming performance. Customized ring dies are available according to pellet mill model, raw material and pellet specifications.

Our pellet mill processes wood sawdust, wood chips, straw, rice husk, peanut shell, bamboo dust, fruit tree branches and other biomass waste. Different dies are available for various feedstock. Raw materials should be crushed to 3‑5 mm with moisture 10‑15% for premium‑quality pellets. A dryer is required for high‑moisture materials.
